What is articulation
This is a technique that adopts a low velocity and moderate to high amplitude forces at a dysfunctional joint to a full range (or as it possible) of motion.
Multiple repetitive motions are used to encourage an improved range of motion. Easing off slightly and re-engaging the motion restriction in an articulatory and repetitive fashion.
If the body is in a state of increased excitability, increased alpha motor neurons are found which increases muscle contractions. This is where altered poor changes occur. By specifically articulating areas movement disrupts this and facilitates improved movement.
